Situated in a scenic rural valley surrounded by rolling hills, the historic Gaslight Village of Wyoming attracts tourist throughout the year with its distinct 19th century atmosphere and the annual AppleUmpkin Festival.  Metropolitan cities of Buffalo and Rochester are only one hour away and Letchworth State Park is within just twenty minutes.

These provide residents easy access to many cultural and recreational events.  The Eastman School of Music the Albright Knox Museum and Shea's Theater are renown for the fine arts programs offered to Wester New York.  The area also enjoys several professional teams in football, baseball, and soccer.

There are several nationally know hospitals within a fifty minute drive.  Strong Memorial in Rochester and Children's Hospital in Buffalo are but two of these.  The local area also benefits from a fine community hospital.

Educational opportunities abound for all of our residents and especially our graduates.  The University of Rochester, University of Buffalo, SUNY Colleges at Geneseo, Brockport, Buffalo and Fredonia, Rochester Institute of Technology, and several parochial colleges including St. John Fisher, Canisius, and several community colleges are found within one hour of Wyoming.

The region offers all of the advantages of peaceful country living; yet a short drive in any direction provides one with endless cultural amenities as well as recreational and educational opportunities.
